Devlog #6


This semester 1 class  was what I thought a really well done course. It starts off with you researching a subject for a potential game. This alone is really good practice for the industry because you are not going to understand every topic thrown your way, research will be involved at one point or another. Then we had to present a concept for a potential game revolving around that subject which is also good practice for the industry. From that point on the rest of the semester was working in teams to create a fleshed out pitch, and project plan for a potential game. Overall I feel that this class helps to develop one of the most important things a game designer needs to be experienced in , and that is teamwork.

All of the assignments and meeting have helped me prepare for the next semester by getting me acclimated to the process of coordinating in a team early on. Also at this point our team roles and responsibilities have already been assigned, making the process of getting back on track much easier when the break concludes.
