Sem 2 Devlog #4


After our second playtest, we as a group decided that we need to adjust our games overall theme a bit. We chose to omit the original location of our game (Fukushima), and instead have our game simply take place in a random nuclear powerplant instead. This allows us to make the games tone a little lighter since it is no longer tied down to a real-world incident. We also chose to omit the real-world incident due to the fact that the players were finding it difficult to tie the games into the games overall theme. However, the players still enjoyed our game overall. From the games developing standpoint, things are still going relatively smoothly. One little setback revolved around some issues with my artwork. The problems revolved around the size of some assets, not having enough motion, and certain parts of each asset not being on separate layers. However, I managed to rectify the issues and am back on track.
